The first STS s.r.l headquarters was opened 20 years ago in Pontelongo (Padua), with a mission to offer quality services in the field of environmental reclamation and transport. We have spent years on the road at the service of people.
In 2020 Covid-19 interrupted our lives, like it did for millions of Italians. This could have been the end of many years of experience and work, but we saw there was a need for an item that could protect and save our lives during the health emergency: that item was surgical masks. So the company decided to expand its activities with the production and resale of disposable masks under the brand Mascherine Venete. The masks were followed by came gowns, surgical caps, shoe covers, and a whole catalogue of medical equipment for use in the healthcare sector.

Masks and equipment certified to EC standards
A significant investment was made at the production level, as the company reorganized to distribute quality EC certified products and machinery used for production. Every activity related to the realization and replenishment of the finished product is carried out in accordance with the law, and complies with the regulations of the European Community. Our surgical masks are type I medical equipment, made of TNT in different colours. They have bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) ≥ 95 %, differential pressure (Pa/cm²) <40 and microbial cleaning (cfu/g) ≤ 30. They are composed of 3 comfortable layers of filtering and certified TNT and Meltblown fabric, with practical ear elastics and adjustable nose wire. Resistant, soft and water-repellent, the masks offer valuable protection against the risk of infection.
